We hold onto our feelings, our stresses, and our thoughts, just like we hold on to material things...from childhood objects to things with special memories, and so on. Our bodies and lives get cluttered, just like our houses do. And there is only so much space to hold our “stuff”. When we don’t know how to start MOVING it, we get stuck.

We can think about this like a deep well in which EVERY ounce of our "stuff" is dropped into it. In this well we might think we have the SPACE to store everything...But the truth is, there is a breaking point...there is a limit. We need to "discharge" the stress/ energy/ and emotions we store in the well. When the well gets too full...we can't sleep, we have mental and physical pain, we EXPERIENCE anxiety, depression, and stress making our nervous system run on over-drive.
What is so amazing about BREATHWORK?? You don’t even have to think about it!!! You just allow whatever comes to come in and out like a wave. When we think about DOING anything in the energy of others who are providing an energetic commonality it allows us to open up to our best selves. That is why we do yoga in a class setting or arrive as a team in a sport. When you are immersed in the energy of others pushing themselves...you too work a little harder.
